ISLAMABAD: Security forces conducted an intelligence-led operation in the Kali Zaik area of southwestern Balochistan, killing two terrorists, according to security sources on Monday.

Action was taken on information about the presence of terrorists between Kali Zaik and Kaghli, 12 kilometers north of Basima Camp.

The operation resulted in the killing of two terrorists and injuries to three others in a clash with security forces, added the sources.

One of the slain terrorists was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed alias Kohiyar, said the sources.

Ammunition, magazines, hand grenades and IED-making equipment were also recovered from the terrorists’ possession.

Sources went on to say that security forces will continue their operations until the complete elimination of terrorism and the establishment of lasting peace in Balochistan.
