ISLAMABAD: Following a successful roadshow at Lord’s Cricket Ground in England on Dec. 7, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to host its second international investor event in New York City on Dec. 13, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement.
The exclusive gathering, scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. local time, is part of the PCB’s expanding global outreach strategy to engage prospective international investors ahead of the auction of two PSL franchises on Jan. 6, 2026.
The PCB hopes the New York Roadshow will highlight the league’s growing commercial value, worldwide fan base, and long-term investment potential. The initiative is expected to create new avenues for global partnerships as the PSL prepares for its next phase of expansion.
Six Pakistan men’s national team players will attend the event, led by T20I captain Salman Ali Agha. Other participating players include Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Saim Ayub, Shan Masood, and Saud Shakeel.
In addition to the current national stars, the New York evening will feature special appearances by legendary cricketer Wasim Akram, former Pakistan captain and commentator Ramiz Raja, and renowned artist Ali Zafar, further adding prominence to the event.
The PSL management’s move to stage roadshows in major international markets reflects its aim to strengthen the league’s global footprint and attract long-term strategic investment ahead of the milestone 2026 franchise auction.
