ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday held a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert Khorev, with the two sides discussing bilateral relations and the regional situation.
According to the Foreign Office, the deputy prime minister appreciated the positive developments in Pakistan-Russia relations and stressed the importance of continued cooperation in key areas and sustained high-level engagement to further strengthen bilateral ties.
The meeting also included a discussion on the regional situation.
Dar reiterated Pakistan's consistent position that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only way forward for resolving disputes and promoting regional peace and stability.
