ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces killed 13 terrorists in two intelligence-based operations in the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were conducted on Monday, March 30, in Kyber and Bannu districts.
In the first operation in the Bara area of Khyber, 10 terrorists were killed after an intense exchange of fire. Three more terrorists were neutralized in a separate operation in Bannu, the statement added.
Security forces have launched sanitization operations to clear the areas of any remaining terrorists.
