ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s security forces have killed 34 terrorists in a series of intelligence-based operations across the country, the military&rsquo;s media wing said on Wednesday, underscoring what it described as a sustained and high-tempo counterterrorism campaign.&nbsp;In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operations were conducted over the past few days in multiple districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, targeting militants linked to what it termed &ldquo;Indian proxies, Fitna Al Khwarij and Fitna Al Hindustan.&rdquo;&nbsp;According to the statement, 26 terrorists were killed in four separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while eight others were neutralized during a separate intelligence-based operation in Balochistan.&nbsp;&ldquo;The movement of a group of khwarij in the general area of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan district, who were trying to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was picked up by the security forces,&rdquo; ISPR said.&nbsp;During the ensuing exchange of fire, one terrorist, later identified as an Afghan national, was killed, it added.&nbsp;In another intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat district, three terrorists were killed, according to the statement. ISPR said that in two separate engagements in the Narmi Khel area of Bannu district, security forces neutralized 10 terrorists. A further 12 were killed in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.&nbsp;Separately, ISPR said eight terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in the Sambaza area of Zhob district in Balochistan.&nbsp;Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, who were &ldquo;actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area,&rdquo; the statement said.&nbsp;Reaffirming the military&rsquo;s stance, ISPR said Pakistan&rsquo;s security forces remain &ldquo;resolute&rdquo; and &ldquo;unwavering&rdquo; in their commitment to defend the country&rsquo;s frontiers and protect its citizens.&nbsp;The statement added that the ongoing counterterrorism campaign, conducted under the vision of &ldquo;Azm-e-Istehkam&rdquo; and approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, will continue &ldquo;at full pace&rdquo; to eradicate what it described as foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.&nbsp;ISPR said further details would be shared as operations continue.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operation was conducted on Sunday following reports of the presence of terrorists belonging to an&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistan-security-forces-kill-24-terrorists-in-khyberpakhtunkhwa-ibos" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">Indian proxy group</a>, described as &ldquo;Fitna al Khwarij.&rdquo; &ldquo;During the operation, own troops effectively engaged the entire group using multiple weapons. After an intense exchange of fire, a suicide bomber blew himself up, while four other India-sponsored terrorists were killed,&rdquo; the statement said. The ISPR added that weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the dead militants, who were involved in several terrorist activities in the area. Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any other India-sponsored militants found in the vicinity, the statement said. The military said the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistan-army-officer-martyred-five-terrorists-killed-in-bannu-attack-military" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">counterterrorism campaign</a>&nbsp;under the vision of &ldquo;Azm-e-Istehkam,&rdquo; approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hailed the security forces for a successful counterterrorism operation, saying they were making great progress against terrorist groups every day.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;The entire nation stands with Pakistan&#39;s armed forces and law enforcement authorities in this war against terrorists,&rdquo; he added.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan armed forces killed 24 khwarij (terrorists) in two separate engagements in the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. &nbsp;&nbsp;This was stated by Pakistan military&rsquo;s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistan-security-forces-kill-216-terrorists-in-balochistan-operation-military" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">ISPR</a>), in a statement released on Friday.&nbsp;&nbsp;The ISPR press release stated: &ldquo;On 4-5 February 2026, twenty-four khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.&rdquo;&nbsp;On the reported presence of terrorists, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistan-security-forces-kill-41-terrorists-in-operations-ispr" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">security forces</a>&nbsp;in Orakzai District, the ISPR said.&nbsp;&nbsp;During the conduct of the operation, troops effectively engaged the terrorists&#39; location, and after an intense fire exchange, 14 terrorists were killed.&nbsp;Another intelligence-based operation by security forces was conducted in Khyber District, the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/12-indianbacked-militants-killed-in-clearance-operation-after-terrorists-attack-in-police-station-banks-pakistan-army" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">ISPR</a>&nbsp;said.&nbsp;&nbsp;In the ensuing fire exchange, 10 more terrorists were effectively neutralized.&nbsp;Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorists found in the area as a relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision &ldquo;Azm e Istehkam&rdquo; (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country, the ISPR said. ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s security forces have successfully concluded Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 in Balochistan, killing 216 terrorists in a series of intelligence-based clearance operations against what the military described as Indian-sponsored terrorist elements, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.&nbsp;In a statement, the military&rsquo;s media wing said the days-long operation involved coordinated, swift, and intelligence-driven actions aimed at neutralizing terrorist networks attempting to disrupt peace and development by targeting innocent civilians, including women and children.&nbsp;The operation was launched following a spate of coordinated <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/12-indianbacked-militants-killed-in-clearance-operation-after-terrorists-attack-in-police-station-banks-pakistan-army" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">terrorist attacks across Balochistan</a> on Jan. 31, which paralyzed normal life in several parts of the province.&nbsp;&ldquo;As a result of these well-coordinated engagements and subsequent clearance operations, 216 terrorists have been sent to hell, significantly degrading the leadership, command-and-control structures and operational capabilities of terrorist networks,&rdquo; the ISPR said.&nbsp;It said Pakistan&rsquo;s security forces, law enforcement agencies, and intelligence services carried out the operation through meticulous planning, actionable intelligence, and seamless joint execution, responding with precision and resolve.&nbsp;According to the ISPR, 36 civilians, including women and children, were martyred during the terrorist violence, while 22 personnel of the security forces and law enforcement agencies laid down their lives in defense of the country. &ldquo;Their courage, professionalism, and unwavering commitment reflect the highest traditions of service. The nation honors their sacrifices and stands in solidarity with the families of all martyrs,&rdquo; the statement said. Detailing the operational timeline, the ISPR said actions were initiated on Jan. 29 in Panjgur and the outskirts of Harnai district after credible intelligence confirmed the presence of terrorists posing an imminent threat to local populations. During the initial phase, security forces targeted identified terrorist hideouts,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistan-security-forces-kill-41-terrorists-in-operations-ispr" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">eliminating 41 terrorists linked</a>&nbsp;to Indian proxy networks, the military said. It added that subsequent aggressive responses by security forces thwarted attempts by Fitna-al-Hindustan to destabilize Balochistan, prompting a broader series of intelligence-based operations across multiple areas. &ldquo;These operations focused on dismantling sleeper cells through sustained combing and sanitization actions,&rdquo; the ISPR said, adding that a large cache of foreign-origin weapons, ammunition, explosives, and equipment was recovered. Preliminary assessments, according to the military, indicate systematic external facilitation and logistical support to extremist proxies operating in the province. Reaffirming its resolve, the ISPR said the armed forces remain committed to combating terrorism in all its forms under the framework of the government&rsquo;s National Action Plan (NAP). &ldquo;Counter-terrorism operations will continue with full determination until the complete elimination of terrorist threats,&rdquo; the statement said. The military described Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 as a reflection of Pakistan&rsquo;s resolve, particularly that of the people of Balochistan, to choose peace, unity, and development over violence and extremism. Following the Jan. 31 attacks, security forces and law enforcement agencies continued mop-up operations in Nushki district and other areas of the province. Mobile internet services remained suspended in parts of Balochistan for a fifth consecutive day on Wednesday, while train services were also halted as a security precaution.

Pakistan security forces kill 216 terrorists in Balochistan operation: Military

ISLAMABAD:&nbsp;Pakistan&rsquo;s military media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations, said on Friday that 41 terrorists were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan on Jan. 29. &ldquo;On 29 January 2026, forty-one terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan, were killed in two separate operations in Balochistan,&rdquo; the ISPR said. An intelligence-based operation was conducted on the outskirts of Harnai District in response to the reported presence of terrorists.&nbsp; During the conduct of the operation, troops effectively engaged the hideout, and after an intense fire exchange, 30 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed.&nbsp; A large cache of ammunition and explosives was also recovered and destroyed on the spot. Another operation was conducted in Panjgur district, in which a terrorist hideout was destroyed, and 11 Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralized.&nbsp; Looted money recovered&nbsp;Besides weapons and ammunition, looted money from a bank robbery in Panjgur on December 15, 2025, was also recovered from the killed terrorists.&nbsp; The terrorists were involved in numerous terrorist activities in the past, the statement said. Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area, the ISPR statement said.&nbsp; &lsquo;Azm e Istehkam&rsquo;&ldquo;Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision &ldquo;Azm e Istehkam&rdquo; (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,&rdquo; the ISPR statement concluded. Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan are terms used by Pakistan for the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan militants, whom it accuses of operating from Afghan soil, backed by India.

Pakistan has <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/eight-militants-killed-in-intelligencebased-operation-in-kalat-ispr-says" style="color:#0073e6;">witnessed</a>&nbsp;a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/13-indianbacked-militants-killed-in-intelligencebased-operations-in-pakistans-northwest" style="color:#0073e6;">surge</a>&nbsp;in <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/11-indiabacked-terrorists-killed-in-kp-intelligencebased-operations-military" style="color:#0073e6;">violence </a>in recent years, particularly in KP and Balochistan, following the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan&#39;s decision to end its ceasefire with the government in November 2022. Earlier this month, the military said terrorist incidents increased sharply following the military conflict with India in May last year, stating that, in its assessment, India subsequently activated proxy groups operating from Afghanistan to destabilize Pakistan. In a press release issued this week, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said &ldquo;approximately fifteen to twenty Indian sponsored terrorists&rdquo; carried out multiple activities in Kharan District. The terrorists targeted City Police Station, National Bank of Pakistan, and Habib Bank Limited, during which &ldquo;Rs3.4 million were looted&rdquo; from the banks. In an effective response, the security forces engaged with the terrorists, prompting them to retreat.&nbsp; &ldquo;During the ensuing clearance operation, twelve terrorists were sent to hell in three different engagements,&rdquo; the press release said.&nbsp; &ldquo;Terrorists&#39; design to create a hostage situation at the police station was also effectively thwarted,&rdquo; it added. The military said that the &ldquo;sanitization operation continues in the surroundings to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorists.&rdquo;&nbsp; &ldquo;A relentless counter-terrorism campaign under vision &lsquo;Azm-e-Istehkam&rsquo; by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,&rdquo; ISPR said.

12 Indian-backed terrorists killed after attack on police station, banks: Pakistan army

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s security forces have killed thirteen Indian-backed militants in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military&rsquo;s media wing said on Thursday. According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were conducted on January 13 and 14 following reports of militant presence in Bannu and Kurram districts. In the first operation, carried out in the Bannu district, security forces engaged militants after establishing their location. &ldquo;During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, and after an intense fire exchange, eight Khawarij were sent to hell,&rdquo; the ISPR said. Islamabad refers to the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as &ldquo;Khawarij,&rdquo; drawing on a historical term for an extremist sect from early Islamic history that defied recognized authority and branded other Muslims as unbelievers. In a separate intelligence-based operation in Kurram district, five Indian-backed militants were killed during an exchange of fire, the military said. The ISPR said that sanitization operations were underway in both areas to eliminate any remaining militants. &ldquo;Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored militants found in the area,&rdquo; the statement said, adding that the armed forces&rsquo; &ldquo;relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision &lsquo;Azm-e-Istehkam&rsquo; will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.&rdquo; Pakistan has witnessed a surge in militant violence in recent years, particularly in KP and Balochistan, following the TTP&rsquo;s decision to end its ceasefire with the government in November 2022. Earlier this month, the military said terrorist incidents increased sharply following the military conflict with India in May last year, stating that, in its assessment, India subsequently activated proxy groups operating from Afghanistan to destabilize Pakistan.
