ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s arm wrestlers delivered a standout performance at the Asian Armwrestling Cup 2025 in Dubai, securing two gold medals and one silver in a landmark achievement for the national team.
Usman Butt emerged as the country’s top performer, winning the gold medal in the left-hand 85kg category. He added to his success with a silver medal in the right-hand 85kg division after a close contest in the final rounds.
In another strong showing, Mateen Asif won silver in the right-hand 75kg category, further strengthening Pakistan’s overall medal tally at the regional event.
The championship, held in Dubai, featured competitors from across Asia.
