ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper’s support of Islamabad’s role in facilitating the initial US-Iran ceasefire, hosting the Islamabad Talks, and the south Asian country's continued efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy for peace and stability.
Dar in a post on X on Saturday stated, “On the margins of the #AntalyaDiplomacyForum, I had a good meeting with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper @YvetteCooperMP.”
“We exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and recent developments.”
“I appreciate her kind acknowledgment and support of Pakistan’s role in facilitating the initial US-Iran ceasefire, hosting the Islamabad talks, and our continued efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy for peace and stability.”
“Look forward to remaining closely engaged on further strengthening Pakistan-UK relations,” Dar said further.
