ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces carried out a successful operation in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, Balochistan, in which four terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan were killed, according to security sources.
Under intelligence-based Operation Al-Azm, the security forces continue vigorous and effective operations against terrorism in Balochistan.
A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorists during the successful operation, the security sources said.
The security forces also seized the motorcycles used by the terrorists.
Several injured
There are also confirmed reports that several terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan were injured during the effective operation by security forces.
During the operation, several suspected individuals involved in facilitating the terrorists were also arrested.
Search and clearance operations are continuing in the area, while complete surveillance is being maintained by the security forces, the sources said.
Following the recent malicious activities by terrorists in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, intelligence-based operations by security forces have been intensified, they said.
The operations of security forces will continue until the elimination of terrorism and the establishment of peace and security in the region, the sources said.
Interior minister lauds security forces
Pakistan Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to security forces for successful operation against Indian-sponsored terrorists in Mastung area.
The interior minister commended the professional capabilities of the security forces for sending four "terrorists to hell".
