ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces killed 464 Afghan Taliban and injured more than 665 during cross-border strikes under Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq, the country&#39;s information minister reported. In a summary of the operation posted on X at 1600 hours on March 3, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that 56 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted by air. In an earlier update at 1000 hours, Tarar said Afghan Taliban in northern Balochistan launched physical attacks at 16 locations across the Qilla Saifullah, Noshki, and Chaman districts, alongside fire raids at 25 locations. Those initial attacks were effectively repulsed, leaving 27 Taliban dead and scores injured. One soldier from FC Balochistan (North) was martyred and five soldiers were wounded during the clashes. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an attempted physical attack at one location and fire raids at 12 locations were repelled without any Pakistani casualties. Security forces killed 40 Afghan Taliban in overnight operations in the province.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s security forces have killed 34 terrorists in a series of intelligence-based operations across the country, the military&rsquo;s media wing said on Wednesday, underscoring what it described as a sustained and high-tempo counterterrorism campaign.&nbsp;In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operations were conducted over the past few days in multiple districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, targeting militants linked to what it termed &ldquo;Indian proxies, Fitna Al Khwarij and Fitna Al Hindustan.&rdquo;&nbsp;According to the statement, 26 terrorists were killed in four separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while eight others were neutralized during a separate intelligence-based operation in Balochistan.&nbsp;&ldquo;The movement of a group of khwarij in the general area of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan district, who were trying to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was picked up by the security forces,&rdquo; ISPR said.&nbsp;During the ensuing exchange of fire, one terrorist, later identified as an Afghan national, was killed, it added.&nbsp;In another intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat district, three terrorists were killed, according to the statement. ISPR said that in two separate engagements in the Narmi Khel area of Bannu district, security forces neutralized 10 terrorists. A further 12 were killed in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.&nbsp;Separately, ISPR said eight terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in the Sambaza area of Zhob district in Balochistan.&nbsp;Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, who were &ldquo;actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area,&rdquo; the statement said.&nbsp;Reaffirming the military&rsquo;s stance, ISPR said Pakistan&rsquo;s security forces remain &ldquo;resolute&rdquo; and &ldquo;unwavering&rdquo; in their commitment to defend the country&rsquo;s frontiers and protect its citizens.&nbsp;The statement added that the ongoing counterterrorism campaign, conducted under the vision of &ldquo;Azm-e-Istehkam&rdquo; and approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, will continue &ldquo;at full pace&rdquo; to eradicate what it described as foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.&nbsp;ISPR said further details would be shared as operations continue.

After an intense exchange of fire, a suicide bomber blew himself up, while four other India-sponsored terrorists were killed,&rdquo; the statement said. The ISPR added that weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the dead militants, who were involved in several terrorist activities in the area. Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any other India-sponsored militants found in the vicinity, the statement said. ISLAMABAD: At least 11 Pakistani soldiers were martyred, and <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistan-security-forces-kill-41-terrorists-in-operations-ispr" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">12 Indian-sponsored terrorists</a>&nbsp;killed Monday in a failed attack on a checkpost in Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military&#39;s media wing said Tuesday.&nbsp;&nbsp;According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the assailants attempted to breach the checkpost but were quickly repelled in a coordinated response. In a last-ditch effort, the attackers rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the perimeter wall, causing the collapse of the checkpost infrastructure. The assailants belonged to the Fitna-al-Khwarij group,&nbsp;a militant faction that Islamabad identifies as Indian-sponsored proxies of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).&nbsp;The blast also affected nearby civilian residential buildings, killing an innocent young girl and injuring seven others, including women and children.&nbsp;The ISPR stated that sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area. The operation forms part of Pakistan&rsquo;s broader counterterrorism campaign under the vision &quot;Azm-e-Istehkam,&quot; aimed at eradicating foreign-sponsored terrorism.&nbsp;&quot;The sacrifices of our soldiers and innocent civilians reinforce our commitment to safeguarding the nation at all costs,&quot; the ISPR stated.

The blast also killed an innocent young girl nearby while injuring at least seven others, including women and children.

ISLAMABAD: Security forces and police killed 11 Indian-sponsored terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the northwestern province of Pakistan, on January 8, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.&nbsp;According to the military&rsquo;s media wing, six terrorists were killed during an operation carried out by security forces in the North Waziristan district after reports about their presence in the area. Troops engaged the terrorists&#39; hideout and neutralized them following an intense exchange of fire.&nbsp;In another joint intelligence-based operation conducted by police and security forces in Kurram district, five more terrorists were killed during a gunfight, the ISPR added.&nbsp;Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, who, according to the statement, were involved in multiple terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces, law enforcement agencies and targeted killings of civilians.&nbsp;The ISPR said sanitization operations are underway to eliminate any remaining militants in the areas.&nbsp;It added that the counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of &ldquo;Azm-e-Istehkam,&rdquo; approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue with full force to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
