ISLAMABAD: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman said on Tuesday that those responsible for hacking his social media accounts have been identified, and efforts are underway to uncover the masterminds behind the <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/microsoft-disrupts-cybercrime-service-linked-to-aienabled-fraud" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" rel="noopener noreferrer">cyberattack</a>, Bangladeshi media reported. He made these remarks while addressing a rally organized by the 11-party alliance at the Chattogram Port Authority School and College ground on Monday, according to The Daily Star. Shafiqur said his X&nbsp;account had been compromised to spread &ldquo;vile language&rdquo; and derogatory remarks targeting women, aiming to tarnish his image. &ldquo;Today, mothers see the 11-party alliance as the only guarantee of their dignity. On one hand, a certain party promises &lsquo;family cards&rsquo;; on the other, it lays hands on our mothers and sisters and threatens to strip them of their dignity,&rdquo; he said. He warned that such attacks would not be tolerated, adding, &ldquo;My mother&rsquo;s honor is above all else.&rdquo; Shafiqur also criticized&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/16-countries-to-send-57-observers-for-feb-12-election-bangladeshi-state-media" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" rel="noopener noreferrer">political rivals</a>, alleging that while his party supported families of martyrs and the injured after the July Uprising, a certain party engaged in extortion and land grabbing. He claimed that in the course of such &ldquo;occupying politics,&rdquo; the party was responsible for the deaths of 234 of its own members. Turning to the development of Chattogram, the Jamaat chief accused some individuals of &ldquo;selling out&rdquo; Chattogram port for personal gain over the decades. He promised that under the 11-party alliance, the port would remain in public hands and be upgraded to international standards free of corruption.

Google described the email campaign as &quot;high-volume&quot; but declined to share further details. What is cl0p? Cl0p is a&nbsp;cybercriminal group notorious for targeting major corporations using advanced malware designed to encrypt files and demand ransoms for their release or deletion. In 2023, Cl0p was implicated in a widespread cyberattack exploiting vulnerabilities in MOVEit &mdash; a file transfer software widely used by companies and institutions to handle sensitive data.&nbsp; The group claimed to have accessed data from hundreds of organizations through this exploit. Prominent victims of the attack included Shell Plc, IAG SA&rsquo;s British Airways, and the BBC. In June 2023, the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued a public advisory warning about Cl0p, describing it as &quot;one of the largest distributors of phishing and malspam globally.&quot; The agency estimated that the group had breached over 3,000 organizations in the United States and more than 8,000 worldwide. BRUSSELS: Brussels Airport said half the departing flights scheduled for Sunday will need to be cancelled due to ongoing disruption following a cyberattack that hit several European airports. &quot;Brussels Airport has asked airlines to cancel half of the scheduled departing flights on Sunday 21 September in order to avoid long queues and late cancellations,&quot; a spokesperson for the Belgian airport said.

ISLAMABAD: A cyberattack targeting a service provider for check-in and boarding systems has disrupted operations at several major European airports including London&#39;s Heathrow, Brussels and Berlin, causing flight delays and cancellations, the operators said. The attack has rendered automated systems inoperable, allowing only manual check-in and boarding procedures, according to Brussels Airport. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&quot;This has a large impact on the flight schedule and will unfortunately cause delays and cancellations of flights,&quot; the operator said in a statement published on its website.&nbsp;&quot;The service provider is actively working on the issue and trying to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.&quot; Heathrow also warned of delays caused by &quot;a technical issue&quot; at a third-party supplier. Passengers with a flight scheduled for Saturday were advised by the affected airports to confirm their travel with airlines before heading to the airport.&nbsp;&quot;Due to a technical issue at a system provider operating across Europe, there are longer waiting times at check-in. We are working on a quick solution,&quot; Berlin airport said in a banner on its website. Frankfurt Airport is not affected by the attack, a spokesperson said.
