GENEVA: This year is set to be among the very warmest ever recorded, capping more than a decade of unprecedented heat, the United Nations said Thursday. &quot;The alarming streak of exceptional temperatures continued in 2025, which is set to be either the second or third warmest year on record,&quot; the World Meteorological Organization said in an update on the state of the global climate released ahead of next week&#39;s COP30 UN climate summit in Brazil.
