ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s Finance Minister Muhammad&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/come-and-visit-us-pakistan-sees-market-at-the-cusp-of-transformation" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">Aurangzeb</a>&nbsp;met with US Commerce Secretary Howard A. Lutnick to discuss expanding bilateral economic cooperation. According to an official statement, the delegation included Pakistan&rsquo;s commerce secretary, its ambassador to the United States, and senior trade and economic officials. Both sides expressed interest in increasing trade and investment and explored US participation in Pakistan&rsquo;s technology, mining,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistan-to-join-usled-global-initiative-on-critical-minerals" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">minerals</a>, and energy sectors. Aurangzeb praised the US Chamber of Commerce for organizing the US-Pakistan Trade and Investment Forum on March 31. The event will include major companies and ministerial participation from both countries. He said he hoped the US Commerce Department would also attend the forum. Officials said&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/us-signals-growing-investment-and-strategic-engagement-with-pakistan" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">both sides</a>&nbsp;will continue working on major investment projects in the coming months.
