ISLAMABAD: United States President Donald Trump on Thursday said a deal with Iran could be within reach and indicated that the next round of negotiations may take place as early as this weekend, with Islamabad remaining a key venue in the diplomatic process.&nbsp;&ldquo;We&rsquo;re very close to make a deal with Iran,&rdquo; Trump told reporters, adding that Tehran had &ldquo;agreed to almost everything.&rdquo;&nbsp;He also suggested he could personally attend if an agreement is finalized in Pakistan&rsquo;s capital. &ldquo;If [a] deal is signed in Islamabad, I might go,&rdquo; he said.&nbsp;&ldquo;I would go to Pakistan. Pakistan has been great. They have been so good. &nbsp;Islamabad, I might go,&rdquo; he added. If the deal is signed in Islamabad, I might go. The Field Marshal [Asim Munir] has been great. The Prime Minister [Shehbaz Sharif] has been really great in Pakistan. So I might go. They want me.&rdquo; He stated that Iran has agreed to &quot;almost everything.&quot;&nbsp;&quot;I&#39;m ⁠not sure it needs to be extended,&quot; Trump told reporters at the White House. &quot;Iran wants to make a ⁠deal ⁠and we&#39;re dealing very nicely with them.&quot;&nbsp;&nbsp;Trump linked the outcome of the talks to global economic conditions, saying a breakthrough would ease pressure on energy markets.&nbsp;&ldquo;If [a] deal happens, oil goes down, prices go down and inflation goes down,&rdquo; he said, highlighting the broader global stakes tied to the negotiations.
