ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has called on the United Nations Security Council to take immediate notice of India&#39;s continued violations of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT), warning that recent actions could jeopardize regional peace and stability, said a statement posted on Friday on the X account of the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the UN. According to the statement, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad handed over a letter from the country&rsquo;s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to the President of the UN Security Council for June 2026, Ambassador Leonor Zalabata Torres of Colombia.
