According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR),&nbsp;&ldquo;It [Marka-e-Haq]&nbsp;signifies the unshakeable harmony between the People, Government and Armed Forces of Pakistan, which stand together as &#39;Bunyan ul Marsoos&#39; against all internal and external challenges.&rdquo;&nbsp;The forum congratulated the nation and the armed forces on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, recognizing it as a defining moment that reflects national unity, collective resolve, and an unyielding commitment to safeguarding Pakistan&rsquo;s sovereignty at all costs, the statement said.&nbsp;It condemned ongoing atrocities, extrajudicial killings, and demographic changes in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), reaffirming Pakistan&#39;s unwavering diplomatic, political, and moral support for the struggle of the Kashmiri people.&nbsp;Regional stabilityThe Corps Commanders&rsquo; Conference, while deliberating on the broader regional security environment, noted that emerging geopolitical developments carry significant implications for regional stability.&nbsp;According to the ISPR, the forum acknowledged Pakistan&rsquo;s continued responsible role in promoting stability and supporting efforts to prevent further deterioration of the situation, while underscoring the importance of restraint and avoiding escalation.&nbsp;&ldquo;It reiterated that peace and stability in the region are intrinsically linked to collective restraint, responsibility and respect for sovereignty,&rdquo; the statement said. Pakistan Armed Forces&nbsp;readinessField Marshal Munir expressed satisfaction over the high standards of operational preparedness, professionalism, and combat readiness of the Pakistan Armed Forces.&nbsp;According to the ISPR, the forum acknowledged the continued degradation of terrorists and their support infrastructure through Operation Ghazb-lil-Haq.&nbsp;Pakistan Armed Forces launched operation Ghazb-lil-Haq on the night of Feb. 26, following cross-border firing by the Afghan Taliban.&nbsp;The session noted that the irrational and perverted policy of the Afghan Taliban regime to provide safe havens to khwarij and other terrorist organizations, with total disregard for the interests of the Afghan people, is increasingly backfiring and stands fully exposed.&nbsp;The ISPR said the Taliban regime&rsquo;s ongoing propaganda campaign falsely portrays Pakistan as targeting civilians inside Afghanistan, and termed such narratives part of a coordinated disinformation strategy to divert attention from its internal failures.&nbsp;&ldquo;The forum categorically rejected these frivolous allegations and reaffirmed that Pakistan&rsquo;s defensive actions remain focused, precise, and directed solely against infiltrators, terrorist hideouts and support infrastructures,&rdquo; the statement said.&nbsp;The conference undertook a comprehensive review of the prevailing internal and external security environment.&nbsp;According to the ISPR statement, the forum resolved to maintain the current operational tempo to decisively dismantle terrorist networks, disrupt their support infrastructure, and deny them any operational space within Pakistan.&nbsp;Field Marshal Munir commended commanders and formations for their unwavering commitment, vigilance, and success in ongoing intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations across the country.&nbsp;He directed commanders to maintain the &quot;highest levels&quot; of vigilance, operational readiness, and adaptability in the face of evolving threats.&nbsp;He further emphasized the need for continued focus on professional excellence, integrated response mechanisms, and proactive measures to counter both conventional and non-conventional challenges. He added that 81 locations across Afghanistan, including terrorist hideouts and support infrastructure, had been effectively targeted. Attack on border post repelled Tarar said the latest engagement took place on the night of April 2-3, when an attempt to attack a Pakistani border post in the Ghulam Khan sector was repelled. &ldquo;An attempt to physically attack a border post&hellip; was comprehensively foiled,&rdquo; he said. According to the statement, the attackers suffered heavy casualties. &ldquo;Up to 37 were killed and more than 80 others were injured,&rdquo; Tarar added. In a separate development, security sources said Pakistani forces had eliminated eight terrorists during an infiltration attempt in North Waziristan&rsquo;s Datta Khel area, including two Afghan nationals, underscoring continued cross-border infiltration attempts. Pakistan launched the operation after a series of attacks along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, and says the campaign aims to dismantle terrorist camps, logistics hubs and command networks used to plan attacks. The operation was briefly paused during Eid-ul-Fitr before resuming, with officials maintaining that it will continue until security objectives are achieved. Authorities say the campaign is based on verified intelligence and is focused on terrorist infrastructure, as Pakistan seeks to reduce the capacity of groups operating from Afghan territory to carry out attacks inside the country.

ISLAMABAD: More than 680 terrorists linked to the Afghan Taliban and affiliated terrorist groups have been killed, as its cross-border military campaign, Operation Ghazab lil Haq, continues into its third week targeting infrastructure used for attacks inside Pakistan. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said in an operational update shared on X that Pakistani security forces have <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/527-afghan-taliban-killed-in-crossborder-strikes-under-operation-ghazb-lil-haq-pakistan-minister" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">killed 684 Afghan Taliban</a> and terrorists linked to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and injured more than 912 others since the campaign began in late February. According to the minister, the operation has also destroyed 252 terrorist posts, while 44 additional posts were captured and later demolished during the course of the campaign. Tarar added that Pakistani forces have destroyed 229 tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns used by terrorist groups operating from Afghan territory. Air operations carried out by the Pakistan Air Force have so far t<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistan-strikes-kandahar-terrorist-infrastructure-after-drone-attacks-injure-civilians" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">argeted 73 locations across Afghanistan</a>, including sites described by officials as terrorist hideouts, logistical bases, and technical support infrastructure. &ldquo;Pakistan is targeting only the infrastructure of terrorists and their support networks,&rdquo; Tarar said, adding that the strikes are based on &ldquo;accurate intelligence information.&rdquo; Security officials said the latest actions occurred during the night of March 14-15, when Pakistani forces carried out precision strikes on installations linked to the Afghan Taliban and TTP groups described by authorities as Fitna al-Khawarij. Among the targets was a technical support facility and equipment storage site in Kandahar, which officials said had been used to facilitate attacks against civilians inside Pakistan. &ldquo;A tunnel housing technical equipment used by terrorists was also destroyed in Kandahar during the operation,&rdquo; Tarar said. In a separate development in the Chitral sector, Pakistani ground forces destroyed what officials described as a terrorist jump-off point at Afghanistan&rsquo;s Badini Post, which authorities say had been used to stage cross-border attacks. According to the latest operational update, 237 Taliban check posts have been destroyed, while 38 additional posts were captured and subsequently demolished by Pakistani forces. Tarar added that 205 tanks, armored vehicles and artillery guns belonging to Afghan Taliban forces were destroyed during the course of the operation. He also said 62 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted through air operations, describing the strikes as part of Pakistan&rsquo;s effort to dismantle infrastructure used to launch attacks across the border. Earlier, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry described the operation as a &ldquo;measured and proportionate response&rdquo; to what Pakistan says were unprovoked attacks originating from Afghan territory. Pakistan&rsquo;s Foreign Ministry has also defended the military action. During a weekly press briefing last week, spokesperson Tahir Andrabi characterized the engagement as an &ldquo;effective and forceful response&rdquo; aimed at safeguarding Pakistan&rsquo;s territorial integrity. The fighting along the Afghanistan&ndash;Pakistan border has drawn international attention as hostilities intensify across the frontier region. Russia&rsquo;s Foreign Ministry also expressed concern over the escalation. In a statement on March 4, spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Moscow was &ldquo;concerned about the ongoing fighting along the Afghan-Pakistani border.&rdquo; She called on both countries &ldquo;to resolve their differences through dialogue based on mutual respect.&rdquo; Pakistani officials, however, maintain that the objective of Operation Ghazab lil Haq remains the neutralization of terrorist threats emanating from across the border and the protection of Pakistan&rsquo;s sovereignty and security.
