ISLAMABAD: Two Pakistanis, Salman Habib and Hassan Chaudhry, have been named to the Forbes &lsquo;30 Under 30 United States 2026&rsquo; list, which spotlights America&rsquo;s brightest young entrepreneurs and investors.&nbsp; &ldquo;Each year, more than 10,000 people apply, and the bar to make the list continues to rise,&rdquo; Forbes noted in its profile of the honorees. Salman Habib, co-founder and CEO of Burq, was recognized in the Transportation &amp; Aerospace category. Founded in 2021 by Salman and his older brother Shaban, the company allows businesses to provide delivery services without investing in their own infrastructure. Forbes reported that Burq has consolidated a nationwide delivery network of over 500 providers, including Uber and DoorDash, covering more than 4,000 US cities, and serves major clients such as Albertsons, Safeway, and Kroger. The company has raised over $10 million from investors. &ldquo;It felt pretty surreal to be on the Forbes list,&rdquo; Habib said. &ldquo;Really excited for what&rsquo;s ahead and grateful for everyone who&rsquo;s been part of the journey so far,&rdquo; he wrote on social media platform X. Meanwhile, Hassan Chaudhry, a vice president at BlackRock Private Equity Partners, earned recognition in the Venture Capital category. Hassan leads growth equity investments focused on Series C through pre-IPO stages and has invested over $800 million in the last two years. His career includes three exits and board observer roles in companies such as Groq (Series D lead) and Applied Intuition (Series F co-lead alongside Kleiner Perkins). He also served on the LPAC of Glasswing Ventures II, a Boston-based, woman-led AI seed-stage fund. Forbes emphasized that the 2026 list reflects a new generation of leaders navigating the AI revolution. &ldquo;The new class is using machine learning to do everything from building robotic astronauts to creating powerful tools that let anyone become a genius coder or master artist,&rdquo; the report said.
