ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s military eliminated fifteen terrorists linked to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan, on Thursday in the southwest province of Balochistan, according to a statement from the military&rsquo;s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).&nbsp;According to the statement, &ldquo;intelligence-based operations (IBO) were conducted in Harnai and Basima Districts&rdquo; following reports of the presence of &ldquo;Khwarij ex Fitna al Khwarij.&rdquo;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;During the operation in Harnai, the military &ldquo;effectively engaged the Khwarij Hideout&rdquo; and after an intense engagement, &ldquo;twelve Indian sponsored Khwarij&rdquo; were eliminated, ISPR said. ISPR added that &ldquo;weapons, ammunition, and explosives&rdquo; were also recovered from the terrorists. President Asif Ali Zardari also paid tribute to the security forces for the operation in Balochistan. In a statement from his office, Zardari said eliminating foreign-backed terrorism is the &ldquo;top priority&rdquo; of the country. He also praised the &ldquo;professional capability and resolve of the security forces.&rdquo; &ldquo;In the unwavering resolve for the protection of the motherland, the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces,&rdquo; he said in his statement. Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also commended the security forces for the operation in Balochistan against the Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan. In a statement from the prime minister&rsquo;s office, Sharif said the military was achieving &ldquo;great successes against terrorism.&rdquo; &ldquo;In this war against terrorism, the entire nation stands with the Pakistan Armed Forces; we are committed to the complete elimination of terrorism from the country,&rdquo; Sharif said in the statement.

ISLAMABAD:&nbsp;Pakistan&rsquo;s military media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations, said on Friday that 41 terrorists were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan on Jan. 29. &ldquo;On 29 January 2026, forty-one terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan, were killed in two separate operations in Balochistan,&rdquo; the ISPR said. An intelligence-based operation was conducted on the outskirts of Harnai District in response to the reported presence of terrorists.&nbsp; During the conduct of the operation, troops effectively engaged the hideout, and after an intense fire exchange, 30 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed.&nbsp; A large cache of ammunition and explosives was also recovered and destroyed on the spot. Another operation was conducted in Panjgur district, in which a terrorist hideout was destroyed, and 11 Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralized.&nbsp; Looted money recovered&nbsp;Besides weapons and ammunition, looted money from a bank robbery in Panjgur on December 15, 2025, was also recovered from the killed terrorists.&nbsp; The terrorists were involved in numerous terrorist activities in the past, the statement said. Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area, the ISPR statement said.&nbsp; &lsquo;Azm e Istehkam&rsquo;&ldquo;Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision &ldquo;Azm e Istehkam&rdquo; (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,&rdquo; the ISPR statement concluded. Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan are terms used by Pakistan for the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan militants, whom it accuses of operating from Afghan soil, backed by India.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s security forces have killed twelve Indian-backed militants in a clearance operation after terrorists carried out activities in Kharan City in the Balochistan province, the military&rsquo;s media wing said on Friday. Pakistan has <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/eight-militants-killed-in-intelligencebased-operation-in-kalat-ispr-says" style="color:#0073e6;">witnessed</a>&nbsp;a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/13-indianbacked-militants-killed-in-intelligencebased-operations-in-pakistans-northwest" style="color:#0073e6;">surge</a>&nbsp;in <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/11-indiabacked-terrorists-killed-in-kp-intelligencebased-operations-military" style="color:#0073e6;">violence </a>in recent years, particularly in KP and Balochistan, following the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan&#39;s decision to end its ceasefire with the government in November 2022. Earlier this month, the military said terrorist incidents increased sharply following the military conflict with India in May last year, stating that, in its assessment, India subsequently activated proxy groups operating from Afghanistan to destabilize Pakistan. In a press release issued this week, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said &ldquo;approximately fifteen to twenty Indian sponsored terrorists&rdquo; carried out multiple activities in Kharan District. The terrorists targeted City Police Station, National Bank of Pakistan, and Habib Bank Limited, during which &ldquo;Rs3.4 million were looted&rdquo; from the banks. In an effective response, the security forces engaged with the terrorists, prompting them to retreat.&nbsp; &ldquo;During the ensuing clearance operation, twelve terrorists were sent to hell in three different engagements,&rdquo; the press release said.&nbsp; &ldquo;Terrorists&#39; design to create a hostage situation at the police station was also effectively thwarted,&rdquo; it added. The military said that the &ldquo;sanitization operation continues in the surroundings to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorists.&rdquo;&nbsp; &ldquo;A relentless counter-terrorism campaign under vision &lsquo;Azm-e-Istehkam&rsquo; by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,&rdquo; ISPR said.

12 Indian-backed terrorists killed after attack on police station, banks: Pakistan army

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s security forces killed six militants affiliated with the group known as &ldquo;Fitna-e-Hindustan&rdquo; during a counterterrorism operation in Dalbandin, Balochistan, security sources said on Wednesday.&nbsp;According to the sources, the operation successfully dismantled a militant network believed to be operating with external support. The group, referred to by Islamabad as Fitna-e-Hindustan, linked to India-sponsored militants operating in parts of Balochistan.&nbsp;The intelligence-led operation was part of ongoing efforts by security forces to eliminate terrorist elements and maintain peace and stability in the province, the sources said.&nbsp;The militants were reportedly hiding in a mountain cave in the Dalbandin region. Security personnel kept the location under aerial surveillance before carrying out a precise strike once confirmation of the targets was obtained.&nbsp;&ldquo;All six militants were neutralized in the engagement,&rdquo; a senior security official said, adding that the operation reflected effective coordination and intelligence-sharing among Pakistan&rsquo;s security and intelligence agencies.&nbsp;The official added that counterterrorism operations will continue across Balochistan until &ldquo;the complete elimination of all terrorist elements from the province.&rdquo;&nbsp;According to Pakistan TV Digital estimates, more than 880 militants have been killed in various intelligence-based operations across the country between January and September 2025.&nbsp;Earlier this week, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, while addressing participants of the 17th National Workshop Balochistan at General Headquarters (GHQ), reaffirmed the state&rsquo;s resolve to pursue terrorists &ldquo;until peace is fully restored.&rdquo;&nbsp;&ldquo;While Pakistan seeks regional peace and stability, any violation of its territorial integrity, direct or indirect, will be met with a firm and decisive response to safeguard the lives and well-being of our citizens,&rdquo; Field Marshal Munir said.&nbsp;Officials said the latest operation in Dalbandin underscores the security forces&rsquo; determination to maintain internal stability and counter external threats aimed at undermining Pakistan&rsquo;s peace and sovereignty.
