ISLAMABAD: Deputy Chief Minister of the Indian state of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/india-plans-ai-tool-to-target-illegal-bangladeshis-and-rohingyas-in-maharashtra" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">Maharashtra</a>, Ajit Pawar, died Wednesday morning in a plane crash in Pune district&rsquo;s Baramati, as his aircraft failed to land. Pawar&rsquo;s plane carried four other people besides him, Indian media reported on Wednesday. Pawar was serving as the deputy chief minister of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/congress-hates-indian-armed-forces-bjp-incensed-by-oppositions-criticism-of-operation-sindoor" target="_blank" style="color:#0073e6;" rel="noopener noreferrer">Maharashtra</a>and was the chief of the Nationalist Congress Party faction that split from the party in 2023, while the other faction remained with his uncle and veteran politician Sharad Pawar.
