WASHINGTON: Oracle and Advanced Micro Devices are expanding their partnership with the deployment of 50,000 AMD graphic processing units beginning in the third quarter of 2026 with further expansion to follow.&nbsp;The so-called AI &ldquo;supercluster&rdquo; is a massive, interconnected group of high-performance computers designed to work together as a single system.&nbsp;AMD shares jumped 3% before the bell on Tuesday, while Oracle&#39;s slipped 1.8%.&nbsp;The companies said that next-generation AI models are poised to outgrow the limits of current AI infrastructure.&nbsp;No dollar figures for what each company&#39;s investment in the expanded partnership.
