July 8
Pakistan reaffirms counterterrorism resolve
Addressing officers at the National Defence University, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said terrorism emanating from across Pakistan's borders would be "crushed with full might of the state." He vowed to dismantle terrorist sanctuaries and their facilitators.

Operation Shaban continues
Security forces continued Operation Shaaban through coordinated ground and aerial operations across Balochistan. According to security sources, troops maintained pressure on terrorist hideouts as the wider counterterrorism campaign progressed across the province.

75 terrorists eliminated
Security sources said Operation Shaban had killed 39 terrorists, while 75 terrorists had been eliminated in overall intelligence-based operations since July 5. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces, saying "We'll uproot terrorism from the country once and for all."

Security sources said Operation Shaban eliminated 64 terrorists, while the broader campaign reached 102 terrorists killed since July 5. Ground and aerial operations continued across Balochistan as security forces pursued remaining terrorist groups.

Mashkel attack amid operations
Security sources said Operation Shaban reached 71 terrorists, with 109 eliminated since July 5. Separately, terrorists attacked civilians in Mashkel, martyring five laborers from Punjab. Security forces launched a search operation to trace the attackers.

Fitna al-Khawarij commander arrested, weapons recovered
Security sources announced the arrest of Dilgi, described as a key commander of Fitna al-Khawarij, as operations continued. Later, officials said Operation Shaban had reached 79 terrorists, while 117 had been eliminated since July 5, with large quantities of weapons and ammunition recovered.

83 terrorists killed in Operation Shaban
Security sources said four more terrorists were killed during coordinated ground and aerial operations, raising Operation Shaban's total to 83. Since July 5, 121 terrorists have been eliminated in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations across Balochistan.
