Netflix shares drop after missing growth targets

SAN FRANCISCO: Netflix shares dropped as much as 8% on Thursday after results underwhelmed investors already worried about slowing engagement at the streaming giant.

The California-based company is facing fierce competition from YouTube, TikTok and other short-form content providers.
