TEHRAN: Iran has offered to help mediate between Afghanistan and Pakistan after a sharp conflict that saw Islamabad declare what it described as an “open war” against the Taliban-led government in Kabul and carry out air strikes following deadly border clashes.
In a post on X, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said ,"The Islamic Republic of Iran stands ready to provide any assistance necessary to facilitate dialogue and to enhance understanding and cooperation between the two countries".
